Backpacking through Cambodia, I visited the War Museums, Killing Fields, Memorials and Prisons. My heart shattered and ached for the millions of innocent lives that were taken during the secret war. The reign of Paul Pot and the agony he caused is still felt today all over the country, the population of which, was halved.
